The Journey is a church consisting of people from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and lifestyles, who gather together in order to create a sacred space for people to walk the way of Jesus authentically, holistically, and spiritually, within a postmodern, cultural context. We exist to extend the unconditional love and grace of Jesus Christ to all people. Our desire is to map out a clear path for faith in a postmodern world through the power of imagery, music, story, intellect, emotion, and spontaneity. We value the importance of community in an increasingly transient culture and strive to create a safe place for people to experience healing from the effects of sin in a chaotic world.
On Saturday, August 23rd from 10am to 12pm we will be hosting a Clothing Exchange where families can drop off and take gently used maternity and children’s clothes. Items may be dropped off on Sunday, August 17th between 12pm and 1pm in the church lobby or simply bring them with you on the day of the event prior to the start of the exchange. Items we will be accepting include clean, gently used: maternity clothes, children’s clothes (sizes 0-12), kids’ accessories (hats, shoes, tights, socks, etc.), sporting equipment, and smaller baby gear items (booster seats, baby monitors, soft baby carriers, and play mats); please do not bring larger items such as car seats or strollers. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
