The Journey exists to live and communicate an authentic faith that attracts spiritually receptive, postmodern people into an environment that cultivates relational and spiritual formation. We believe that God created us for relationship and specifically designed us to live out those relationships within community to bring about spiritual restoration found through Jesus Christ. Whether you are skeptical about church, were wounded by organized religion, or you are seeking to find a community of faith to call your own, we invite you to participate in this vibrant, ongoing story of resurrection and renewal that God is breaking into the world through Jesus Christ. We desire to cultivate a community that allows space for questions and doubts as an essential, intrinsic aspect of our spiritual growth.
As followers of Jesus, we desire to embody His mission of grace to a broken world through redemptive acts of kindness and service to our community. Deeply compelled by this contagious grace, we aspire to live out the proclamation of the gospel by engaging our culture, bringing hope to the depressed, seeking justice for the oppressed, providing healing for the distressed, and lavishing love on everyone we encounter during this unfolding narrative of God’s redemption here on earth.
We are part of a larger collection of churches known as the Christian and Missionary Alliance which has been a significant missionary movement for the last century. As part of the C&MA we are active in supporting and partnering with missionaries around the world.
